Bhrigu Lake Trekking Tour

Nestled in the stunning Pir Panjal range, Bhrigu Lake is an enchanting high-altitude lake steeped in spirituality, where Sage Bhrigu is believed to have meditated. Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali – Whispering Rocks – Siyander Thatch (3350m)
Distance: Approx. 5-6 km | Trek Duration: 4-5 Hours

Pickup from Chandigarh early morning and drive to Manali (approx. 7-8 hours).

Continue the drive to Whispering Rocks, situated beyond Palchan on the Manali-Rohtang road.

Begin the trek with a gradual ascent through Beas Nallah, passing lush agricultural fields and dense deodar, fir, and spruce forests.

Cross Khanora Thatch and Maple Thatch, each known for their scenic beauty.

Reach Siyander Thatch, surrounded by dwarf rhododendron and oak groves, with panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges.

Overnight stay in tents at Siyander Thatch.


Day 2: Siyander Thatch – Bhrigu Lake – Siyander Thatch
Distance: Approx. 10 km round trip | Trek Duration: 6-7 Hours

Begin the trek to Bhrigu Lake, ascending through alpine pastures and rocky fields left behind by retreating glaciers.

Reach the serene and holy Bhrigu Lake, nestled in a bowl and surrounded by snowfields. Spend time soaking in the spiritual vibes and beauty of the lake.

Descend back to Siyander Thatch and stay overnight in tents.


Day 3: Siyander Thatch – Gulaba – Manali – Chandigarh
Distance: Approx. 6-7 km | Trek Duration: 4-5 Hours

After breakfast, begin the descent along the ridge, passing Khanora and Kothi Nallahs.

Traverse beautiful meadows and dense forests, possibly spotting wildlife like the Monal pheasant.

Reach Gulaba, where the trek ends.

Drive back to Chandigarh, completing the return journey by evening.
