Itinerary
Day 1: Chandigarh to Manikaran (Pickup by Cab)
Journey begins with a scenic drive from Chandigarh to Manikaran – a sacred town nestled in Parbati Valley.
Explore hot springs, temples, and Gurudwaras.
Overnight stay in Manikaran.
Day 2: Trek to Khir Ganga (10 km)
Start trek from Gwacha village to the mystical Khir Ganga (2,960 m).
Enjoy a dip in natural hot water springs under Himalayan skies.
Overnight camp in Khir Ganga.
Day 3: Khir Ganga to Pandupul (12 km)
Trek through enchanting birch and walnut forests.
River crossings via traditional wire baskets add a thrill!
Reach Pandupul, a place rooted in Pandava legends.
Camp overnight.
Day 4: Pandupul to Mantalai (14 km)
Climb above the treeline to reach the glacial Mantalai Lake (4,116 m).
Soak in views of snowfields and turquoise waters.
Camp beside the lake under starry skies.
Day 5: Mantalai to Base Camp (Trek)
Begin ascent toward the base of the Pin Parbati Pass.
Trek through high-altitude glaciers and moraines.
Base camp at 4,800 m – acclimatization and rest.
Overnight camp.
Day 6: Cross Pin Parbati Pass (Trek)
The most challenging day – cross the pass at 5,319 meters.
Snowfields, crevasses, and panoramic Himalayan views.
Descend to the banks of the Pin River.
Camp at 4,200 m in Pin Valley.
Day 7: Pin Valley to Mudh (Trek)
Enter Pin Valley National Park, home to snow leopards, ibex, and blue sheep.
Trek to Mudh Village, the first village in Spiti.
Overnight stay in a guesthouse.
Day 8: Drive to Sagnam (12 km)
Short drive through colorful mountains and barren valleys.
Explore Sagnam/Mikkim at the river confluence.
Overnight stay in Sagnam.
Day 9: Sagnam to Kaza (35 km Drive)
Drive to the heart of Spiti – Kaza, the cultural and commercial hub.
Explore the local market, monasteries, and cafes.
Guesthouse stay in Kaza.
Day 10: Kaza to Manali via Kunzum & Rohtang Passes
Cross the epic Kunzum Pass (4,551 m) and Rohtang Pass (3,978 m).
Reach Manali in the evening.
Night stay in Manali.
Day 11: Manali to Chandigarh (Drop-off)
After breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh with a heart full of stories and memories.
