Tirthan Sainj Valley Trekking Tour

Day 1: Chandigarh to Gushaini (Drive – approx. 10 hours)

Pickup from Chandigarh early morning by private cab (Etios/Desire/Innova).

Scenic drive via Bilaspur – Mandi – Aut.

Enter Tirthan Valley, arrive at Gushaini, a serene riverside village.

Evening free for acclimatization and trout fishing (optional).

Overnight stay: Guesthouse/Homestay in Gushaini.

Day 2: Gushaini to Rolla (8 km trek)

Begin trek along the Tirthan River into the GHNP.

Reach Rolla (2,100 m) and settle into a forest hut.

Enjoy serene views and wildlife photography opportunities.

Overnight stay: Forest hut at Rolla.

Day 3: Rolla to Rakhundi Top via Ghumtarao (Trek)

Ascend through dense deodar forests to Ghumtarao (3,500 m).

Continue trekking to Rakhundi Top (3,622 m), known for panoramic ridge views.

Camp under the stars surrounded by Himalayan peaks.

Overnight stay: Tented campsite at Rakhundi or Ghumtarao.

Day 4: Rakhundi to Dhela Thatch (Trek)

Trek across alpine meadows filled with juniper and rhododendron.

Reach Dhela Thatch (3,737 m) with grand views of the Khandedar Massif.

Spot rare wildlife like Himalayan Monal, musk deer, and Western Tragopan.

Overnight stay: Trekker’s hut or camp at Dhela Thatch.

Day 5: Dhela Thatch to Shakti (Trek)

Begin a descent through dense mixed forests.

Cross the Sainj River and arrive at Shakti (2,200 m).

Camp next to the river, surrounded by sea-buckthorn and walnut groves.

Overnight stay: Riverside camp at Shakti.

Day 6: Shakti to Neulli (21 km Trek) | Drive to Aut – Kullu – Overnight Stay

Trek 21 km through the Sainj Wildlife Sanctuary along the river.

Reach Neulli, the roadhead.

Drive to Kullu and check in to a hotel for rest.

Overnight stay: Hotel in Kullu.

Day 7: Kullu to Chandigarh (Drive – approx. 8 hours)

Post breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh.

Drop at airport/railway station/hotel.

Tour Ends with memories of untouched valleys and thrilling adventure.
